Board of Directors
ROGER A. STRAUCH, Chairman of the Board: is Chairman of The Roda Group,
a venture development firm, based in Berkeley, California which provides
entrepreneurs the resources, environment and guidance to launch and grow
high technology businesses. He also serves on the Board of Coolsystems,
Polyserve and Sightspeed. He was the first CEO and former Chairman of Ask
Jeeves, Inc. Previously, he was the CEO of Symmetricom, a communications
equipment manufacturer. He was a co-founder at TCSI Corp., a telecom software
company, and as Chairman and CEO, Roger was responsible for growing the
company from start-up to over $60 M in annual revenues and completing a
successful IPO. Roger earned a Bachelor of Science degree, with distinction, from
Cornell University and a Master of Science degree from Stanford University, both
in electrical engineering. He holds two patents in wireless communications.
DANIEL H. MILLER, Board of Directors: is Managing Director of The Roda Group.
He is also Chairman of SightSpeed Inc. and is the former president of Ask Jeeves,
Inc. Previously, he was Executive Vice President of TCSI Corporation, a company
he co-founded with Roger Strauch and helped grow until its successful IPO.
Mr. Miller is currently working with a number of Roda Group affiliated companies to
assist them with their business development efforts. He also serves on the board
of N8 Systems Inc. Mr. Miller received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical
Engineering, with distinction, from Cornell University and his Master of Science
in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He holds three patents in the
areas of compression technology and wireless communications systems.
AL HULVEY, Board of Directors: brings 30 years of management and direct
marketing experience to Touchpoint. During his career he has repeatedly built
companies by selecting winning corporate strategies, integrating appropriate
technology, and building strong management teams. Previously, he held
executive positions at a number of marketing technology startups, most recently
as president and CEO of PREDICTx, a real-time analytics software firm and
executive vice president of ILUX Corporation, a real-time software provider of
email and website marketing solutions. Al was also the chief operating officer at
Locus Direct, a firm specializing in direct marketing services for mortgage banking.
Prior to that position, he was general manager for three divisions at ADVO Inc.,
which grew from $650 million to $1.1 billion providing direct marketing services
to retailers. He also held executive positions at consumer and business
enterprises, including Heublein Inc., KFC Corp. and the U.S. Chamber of
Commerce in Washington D.C.
